Ainsley & Sofie ventured off to Russian camp this week. I guarantee it was nothing like the Communist camps of the 1950's - even though all the kids that attended wore kerchiefs around their necks :). They spent the week practicing their Russian language skills through fairy tales, songs and art. It was the first time our program has hosted such an event and I am pleased to say that everyone - including the counselors- had a good time. I'm sorry the pictures aren't better quality, but our school's multi-purpose room is a horrible place for taking pictures. Sofie didn't enjoy the performance piece (notice her folded arms in the photo)...she said there were too many people watching her. Ainsley on the other hand had a great time portraying a child-snatching goose!
